Bred by Nicolas Rolland (France, 1867).
Introduced in France by Eugène Verdier fils aîne in 1868 as 'Madame Rolland'.
Introduced in Australia by J. Graham & Co. in 1874 as 'Madame Rolland'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Blush, salmon-pink shading.  Very large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Descriptions confuse the cultivars of Rolland and Moreau.
