Bred by Nikolai Danilovich Kosteckij (USSR (former), 1941).
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Purple.  Strong fragrance.  28 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Large, very double, borne mostly solitary, cupped, nodding or "weak neck" bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, armed with thorns / prickles, compact.  Light green foliage.
