'Sanibel' rose Description

Bloom:
Rich gold coloring, paling gradually to a uniform light yellow.. Mild fragrance. Average diameter 2". Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium buds.
Habit:
Medium, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, compact, rounded. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.
Height: 18" to 30" (45 to 75cm). Width: 18" to 30" (45 to 75cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6a and warmer. Can be used for container rose, exhibition, garden, hanging basket or specimen. Vigorous. flowers drop off cleanly. heat tolerant. prefers full sun. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, very blackspot resistant., very mildew resistant, very rust resistant. Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. . Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
