Origin:
Bred by Emmanuel-Denis Buatois (France, 1931).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1933 as 'Lise Chiavassa'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Carmine-red, violet-red shading, pink shading.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.  Glossy foliage.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
