Discovered by Charles Christopher Parry (United States, 1882).

Bloom:
White.  Mild fragrance.  5 petals.  Average diameter 1".  Single (4-8 petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Short, armed with thorns / prickles, sends out runners, spreading, well-branched.  Small foliage.  

Height: 2' to 4' (60 to 120cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Drought resistant.  heat tolerant.  prefers dry climates.  prefers full sun.  Do not prune.
