Bloom:
Orange-red, orange-pink reverse, ages to lighter . Moderate, damask fragrance. up to 37 petals. Full (26-40 petals), high-centered bloom form.
Habit:
Climbing. Large, glossy, dark green foliage.
Height: 8' to 10' (245 to 305cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Lois Harper reports: I bought the climber named 'Orange Velvet' last year (2001). I found it at
a Canadian Tire store in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I wasn't sure where it would end up being planted so I kept it in a five gallon bucket last summer and it got to about 4 feet tall and had a couple of gorgeous blooms. Beautiful. For the winter we buried it because we were not sure
if it would survive our winter. Hopefully it has and we will find the perfect spot for it this spring.
