Parentage: Seedling x ´Orava´(F. Chorvát, 1973, F)
Shrub of medium height (0.6 meters), with initially paler green, later deeper, leathery and semi-glossy foliage. Shorter shoots are covered with deep red thorns and luminous red buds. The blossom (25 petals) grows in numerous clusters (4–7 blossoms); matte crimson with brownish tone. This rose is named after the inventor of the parachute, a Slovak native from Neštich (now Smolenice), and honorary member of the US Air Force and codiscoverer of the limestone cave Driny in Slovakia.
