Origin:
Bred by Rudolf Geschwind (1829-1910) (Austria-Hungary (former), before 1909).
Introduced in Germany by Peter Lambert in 1909 as 'Azalea'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1911 as 'Azalea'.
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora.  
Bloom:
Light pink and white, yellow undertones.  None / no fragrance.  Small, semi-double (9-16 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  Small buds.  
Habit:
Arching, climbing.  

Height: 6'7" to 9'10" (200 to 300cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Hardy.
