Origin:
Discovered by Gold Coast Heritage Rose Group (United States, 2006).
Class:
Found Rose.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink.  White edged lilac.  Moderate, damask, fruity, sweet fragrance.  up to 80 petals.  Small to medium, very full (41+ petals), button-eye bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Small buds.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Collected from the Smith Family plot in a Sierra Foothills cemetery. Burials range from 1907-1928. Orange Smith was born in Illinois, and served in the U.S. Infantry in the Civil War. Blooms have lots of substance, and age darker.
