Origin:
Bred by Mike Shoup (United States, before 2003).
Introduced in United States by Antique Rose Emporium (Brenham, Texas) in 2003 as 'Mier y Teran'.
Class:
Shrub.   (Series: Pioneer)  
Bloom:
Pink blend.  Moderate fragrance.  41 petals.  Average diameter 3.5".  Large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Large, glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 6' to 8' (185 to 245cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower, garden, hedge or shrub.  Hardy.  vigorous.  suitable for a pillar.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
