Origin:
Bred by Alain Meilland (1940-....) (France, before 2003).
Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 2003 as 'September Mourn'.
Class:
Floribunda.
Bloom:
White.  None / no fragrance.  17 to 25 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, upright.  Large, semi-glossy, dark green, dense foliage.  3 to 7 leaflets.

Height: 39" to 47" (100 to 120cm).  Width: 2' to 32" (60 to 80cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower, garden, hedge, landscape or specimen.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
Breeder's notes:
Continuous bloom, very similar to 'Iceberg' with much better flower form.

The female parent (i.e., the seed parent) of the new variety was the product of the cross of the `Korbin` variety (non-patented in the United States) and the `Korresia` variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 3,509). The `Korresia` variety sometimes is known as the `Fresia` variety or the `Friesia` variety. The male parent (i.e., the pollen parent) was the `Jacjem` variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 5,001). The `Jacjem` variety sometimes is known as the `Sun Flare` or `Sunflare` variety.
