'Joan Austin' rose Description

Pink blend Miniature. Registration name: MORdebExhibition name: Joan Austin
Bloom:
White and pink, stripes. Strong fragrance. 38 petals. Medium, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, compact. Small, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.
Height: 1' (30cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
