Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1939 as 'Emile Cramon'.

Carmine-red, copper shading, light yellow undertones.  Very large bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.

Few or no prickles/thorns.  Matte, dark green, dense foliage.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
