Bloom:
Red, lighter reverse. Mild fragrance. Average diameter 4.5". Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Tall, upright. Large, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.
Height: 5' to 6' (150 to 185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Can be used for cut flower or garden. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. . Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood.. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) . Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
