Bred by Ketten Frères/Bros./Gebrüder (Luxembourg, 1930).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1932 as 'Violet Wilton'.

Bloom:
Crimson, blush undertones, light yellow shading, lighter reverse.  Strong fragrance.  35 to 40 petals.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
