ARS:
Medium pink Shrub. Registration name: Millicent (shrub, Agriculture Canada, 1928)
Bloom:
Pink, yellow reverse. Light coral red fading to flesh pink. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b. Hardy.
Breeder's notes:
R. rubrifolia x R. Harisoni produced one attractive seedling which has been named Millicent. Its foliage is dark green, but has reddish brown veins which make it unusual. The bush on its own roots is not very vigorous, but perhaps a suitable understock may improve that. Flowers have several extra petals and are light coral-red, fading to flesh-pink.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
