Origin:
Bred by Pierre (fils) Bernaix (France, before 1924).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1924 as 'Manon'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1926 as 'Manon'.
Class:
Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow, apricot shading.  Cadmium yellow.  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, button-eye, flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Parentage:
Christine (hybrid tea, McGredy, 1916) × Mrs. Farmer
