'Don Quichotte' rose Description

ARS:
Red blend Floribunda.
Registration name: Don Quichotte (floribunda, Robichon, 1964)
Bloom:
Cherry-red, lemon-yellow undertones. Reverse purple-red edges. Mild fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, ruffled bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright. Glossy, leathery foliage.
Height: 14" to 28" (35 to 70cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
