Introduced in United States by Howard & Smith in 1955 as 'Damon Runyon'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson.  Moderate fragrance.  35 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 4.75".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 3" to 5" (8 to 13cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
