Bred by Alexandre Bernaix (France, 1889).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1892 as 'Georges Farber'.

Bloom:

Purple - red, dark red veining, cherry-red shading. Medium to large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long buds.

Habit:

Light green foliage.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
