Discovered by Louis Lévêque fils (France, before 1919).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1919 as 'Georges Clemenceau'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1926 as 'Georges Clemenceau'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Orange, amber shading, carmine-pink shading.  Large, semi-double to double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Georges Clemenceau, former Prime Minister of France, was born on 28 September 1841 and died on 24 November 1929.
Different opinions on parentage.
