'Marquise de Vivens' rose Description

Pink blend Tea. Registration name: Marquise de Vivens
Bloom:
Carmine-pink to pink, light yellow undertones, blush reverse. Strong, violets fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long buds.
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, well-branched.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

"Mrs Goode's Special Tea" was collected by Pat Toolan from an old garden in suburban Adelaide (South Australia). There is more to be read about the finding of this old rose in the 2001 reference, as well as in the Comments.
