Bred by Hendrikus Antonie Verschuren Jr. (1885-1947) (Netherlands, before 1943).
Introduced in United States by Lovett's Nursery (J.T. Lovett) in 1943 as 'Golden Diamond'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow.  up to 30 petals.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Compact, upright.  Dark green, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
