Origin:
Bred by Jan Böhm (Czechoslovakia (former), before 1930). Introduced in Czech Republic by Jan Böhm in 1931 as 'Alois Jirásek'. Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1938 as 'Alois Jirásek'.
Bloom:
Orange and yellow. Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 3.5". Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long, pointed buds.
Habit:
Glossy, light green foliage.
Height: 2' to 32" (60 to 80cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
