Bred by Dr. Keith W. Zary (United States, 1997).
Class:
Floribunda, Florists Rose.  
Bloom:
Purple - red.  Mild fragrance.  35 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 2.25".  Small to medium, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, high-centered to flat, reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, few or no prickles/thorns, upright, well-branched.  Medium, medium green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 6' to 7' (185 to 215cm).  Width: 42" to 4' (105 to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower.  Vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Notes:
The US Patent Application (No. US1997000800675) for this rose was filed February 14, 1997. The Patent was issued June 16, 1998. This rose resulted from a cross of INTERprince x JACpurr. It has unique purple red flowers that blooms in clusters of 3 to 5. Cut flowers have a long vase life. The base of each petal has a small (1/4" x 1/4") whitish half moon. Guard petals have a white streak. Blooms last about 7 days on the plant and 10 days as a cut flower.
