Bloom:
Red, yellow stamens. [Red.]. None / no fragrance. 7 to 8 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Medium, single (4-8 petals), in large clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Pointed buds.
Habit:
Short, compact, spreading. Medium, glossy, dark green, dense foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 16" to 28" (40 to 70cm). Width: up to 28" (up to 70cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, garden or ground cover. Vigorous. produces decorative hips. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.

'Noare' originated from the uncontrolled pollination between 'Ricarda' and an unknown pollen parent. The breeding work was done in Gütersloh, Germany in 1989. Germany - Patent No: 39903872 Trademark United States - Patent No: PP 11,308 on 21 Mar 2000 VIEW USPTO PATENTApplication No: 119583 on 21 Jul 1998 Inventor: Noack, Reinhard. A new variety of ground cover rose which forms throughout the season long-lasting bright velvet red blossoms. Created at Gutersloh, Germany... The female parent was 'Ricarda' (which has deep salmon-pink semi-double blossoms). The male parent was an unnamed seedling that included 'Flower Carpet' in its parentage. This seedling was initially identified as No. 1039-89... this rose commonly blooms in large sprays of 20 to 25 blossoms.
