Bred by Soupert & Notting (Luxembourg, 1909).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1911 as 'Prince Engelbert Charles d'Arenberg'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Scarlet - red, darker shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  

Height: up to 32" (up to 80cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Engelbert Charles Marie Henri Antoine François Prosper Ernest Gaspard, Duc d'Arenberg (April 20, 1899 Hévérle - April 27, 1974), Prince d'Arenberg, became the10th Duke of Arenberg in 1949, was the son of Engelbert & Hedwige d'Arenberg. Also "Engelbert-Karl von Arenberg.
