Introduced in France by Roseraie de l'Hay in 1901 as 'Domaine de Chapuis'.

Domaine de Chapuis is a vineyard in Aloxe-Corton, Burgundy, 'Domaine de Chapuis' in gardens and commerce seems to be mislabeled and is identical to 'Châteua de la Juvenie', as confirmed by Erich Unmuth of Austria who has planted the rose from various accessions.
