Arena Roses 1999 Catalog presents a list of roses hybridized by the Guillot Family. This is one of the roses that is on that list. Pépinières Loubert's 2002 Catalogue lists as a hybrid bracteata. Roseraie du Val de Marne describes 'Triomphe de la Guillotière' as with strong fragrance, no or feeble repeat.
