Bred by George Dawson (1904-1991) (Australia, 1970).
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1978 as 'Headline'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow blushed carmine.  Mild to strong fragrance.  42 petals.  Average diameter 4.25".  Full (26-40 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, compact, few or no prickles/thorns.  Dark green foliage.  

Height: 4'11" to 5¼' (150 to 160cm).  Width: 4'1" to 4'7" (125 to 140cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
