Origin:
Bred by Jean-Marie Gaujard (1903-1995) (France, 1955).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1959 as 'Caroline'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Orange-red.   (Rouge de cochenille).  Strong fragrance.  70 petals.  Very large, very full (41+ petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy.  Glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.
