Origin:
Bred by Rudolf Geschwind (1829-1910) (Austria-Hungary (former), 1890).
Introduced in Luxembourg by Ketten Frères/Bros./Gebrüder in 1891 as 'Astra'.
Class:
Hybrid China, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink, lighter outer petals.  None / no fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large buds.  
Habit:
Medium.  

Height: up to 3' (up to 90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
