Registration name: Lamplighter (hybrid tea, McGredy, 1948)

Bred by Walter Irwin Johnston (Ireland, before 1948).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Samuel McGredy and Son, Nurserymen (Northern Ireland) in 1950 as 'Lamplighter'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1952 as 'Lamplighter'.

Hybrid Tea.  

Salmon-pink, gold reverse.  Mild fragrance.  37 petals.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Bronze-green foliage.  

USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
