Origin:
Discovered by C. D. Duprat (France, circa 1887). Introduced in France by Duprat fils in 1897 as 'Panachée de Bordeaux'.
Bloom:
Red, white streaks, stripes, flecks. Very large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Sangerhausen describes the color of the bloom as red with white stripes.
