Introduced by Unknown (Australia) in 1961 as 'Miss Ireland'.
Introduced in New Zealand by McGredy Roses International (New Zealand) in 1961 as 'Miss Ireland'.
Introduced in France by NIRP International in 1964 as 'Miss Ireland'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Orange-red, yellow reverse.  Orange salmon, creamy yellow reverse.  Mild fragrance.  29 to 37 petals.  Average diameter 5".  Very large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy.  Dark green foliage.  

Height: 2' to 30" (60 to 75cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
