Discovered by Williams & Co. Keynes (United Kingdom, 1889).
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Climbing Niphetos'.

Bloom:
White.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 3.75".  Globular, reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, climbing.  

Height: 10' (305cm).  Width: 6' (185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Notes:
Presumably the climber would have the same blooms as the bush which has a description of: "Outer petals large, center petals narrow, crumpled, (ragged, irregular). Thorns very thick".

Similar to 'Paul Krüger'.
The Peter Beales Collection of Classic Roses 2000-2001 says this rose was a florists' variety during late Victorian times.
