'La Jolla' rose Description

Pink blend Hybrid Tea. Registration name: La Jolla Exhibition name: La Jolla
Bloom:
Light pink, darker veining, cream center, golden-yellow center. Strong fragrance. 65 petals. Average diameter 5". Large, very full (41+ petals), high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Upright. Glossy, dark green foliage.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
Notes:
Herb Swim uses 1953 as the breeding date in his book Roses - From Dreams To Reality, which is probably the year the rose was introduced by Armstrong Nurseries as the patent for the rose is dated 1952.
