Introduced in United Kingdom by Paul and Son / George Paul in 1893 as 'America'.

Carmine-pink. Medium to large, single (4-8 petals) bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.

Habit:

Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.

Height: up to 39" (up to 100cm).
