Ploidy information supplied by David Zlesak, Dec 22, 2013. Pollen parent according to the information in the Rosenjahrbuch 2018. s.s. "Cläre Grammerstorf" was the name of a steam cargo ship of the shipping company Karl Grammerstorf in Kiel, Germany. [From Forum-schiff35-plus.net:] She was built at the Howaldtswerken of Kielwith 3482 BRT and launched 1930 as "Marcel Schiaffino" for a French shipping line. On August 7, 1940 she was captured by the Germans and rebuilt as transporter "H 24". In 1941 again renamed "Dockenhuden" and used as a torpedo transporter. The ship capsized in Hamburg harbour on April 30, 1945 after bombing. The wreckage was towed to Kiel in 1947 and handed over to Karl Grammerstorf (1882-1966) in 1949. He had her repaired and relaunched on March 14, 1950 as "Cläre Grammerstorf" [for fruit service]. Finally, on May 22, 1963 she arrived in Temse, Belgium where she was broken down.
