Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997) (Germany, 1956).

Bloom:
Yellow, orange shading.  Strong fragrance.  40 petals.  Average diameter 3.5".  Large, very full (41+ petals), old-fashioned, quartered, rosette bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing.  

Height: 6' to 20' (185 to 610cm).  Width: 6' to 8' (185 to 245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Can be used for cut flower, garden, pillar or shrub.  Hardy.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, susceptible to blackspot .
