Introduced in United States by Boston Rose Farms in 1928 as 'Mrs. John Whicher'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1929 as 'Mrs. John Whicher'.

Climber, Hybrid Tea, Cl., Large-Flowered Climber.

Bloom:

Yellow - white, lemon-yellow undertones. Strong, lemon fragrance. Average diameter 5". Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.

Climbing.

Height: 8' to 20' (245 to 610cm). Width: 10' (305cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 5a through 9b. Very vigorous.
