Origin:
Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1990).
Introduced in New Zealand by Egmont Roses in 1998 as 'Tess'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Creamy apricot. Buff-cream.  Mild fragrance.  41 petals.  Average diameter 4.5".  Large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, in large clusters, cupped, old-fashioned bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Large, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 47" (120cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower.  Blooms tend to ball in wet weather.  prefers dry climates.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
