Bloom:
Mauve or purple blend. Strong, citrus, geranium, honey, violets fragrance. 35 to 40 petals. Average diameter 4". Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, exhibition bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Bushy. Medium, glossy, dark green foliage.
Height: 31" to 39" (80 to 100cm). Width: 20" to 2' (50 to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower, exhibition or garden. Vigorous. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. . Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood.. Notes:
The perfume makes the rose! The large flower is very double and mauve in color with a blue sheen. The flowers repeat and the foliage is resistant to disease. Height: 80/100 cm (32/40 in).
