Hi,
does anybody here grow the climbing rose 'Réveil dijonnais'? On the net, I found rather different informations, as far as maximum height, growth speed and disease resistance are concerned -would be wonderful, to hear something about that by somebody, who knows the plant from personal gardening experience! (I'll take the risk with that rose anyhow, because it fits perfectly in one particular part of my garden; but it's good to know what you are doing...)
For better comparison: I live in Germany, in European Climate Zone 7-8 (probably comparible to USDA-Zone 6-7), in a rather mild region, where grapes are grown. The place for the climber is a wall, Southwest, with sun, wind and rain (a lot of all of that). To those, who know 'Réveil dijonnais': Do you think this plant can do well there?
Thanks for answering and many greetings! Querkopf
