Portugal
Rose lover, I've been growing them for most of my life, starting to try breeding some now, my garden and rose collection is 18 miles from the Atlantic, in coastal Portugal close to the Montejunto mountains. The soil is red heavy clay and the weather oscillates year to year, but mostly it's very subtropical and mild with very few days above 32ºc max and very few under the -3ºc min, rarely we get frost and even some of the first old roses crossed for the first time with chinas tend to re-bloom occasionally.
