I am a retired college professor and a hobbyist. I volunteered in the Huntington Rose Garden for 20 years. I am now a volunteer at Rancho Los Alamitos in CA. Our goal is to reestablish the Olmsted Bros. designed garden for the last owner of the Rancho, Mrs. Florence Bixby in 1927. I am an expert on growing David Austin’s English roses in southern CA. I love old roses, especially Teas and polyanthas and have quite a few of each.
