My mother worked for a florist to help put us through college, my Dad was an plant geneticist for the USDA and for the University of Minnesota. I first worked in a green house when I was 16, helping transfer seedlings into pots. I have designed, developed, or renovated perennial flower beds almost where every I have lived. My current project is building a water garden in my daughter's yard. This winter I hope to start the process to become a Master Gardener. I will also be renovating an award winning garden in Daphne Alabama, moving tons of existing plants, putting in a brick walk and patio and building an arbor. A water feature will be added, along with some specimen trees. Wish me luck!
