Arvid`s garden Lista southwestern coast of Norway July 2008. Together with Sander`s White Rambler (right) it has now taken control of my gazebo, and with my consent at that. However we have agreed on a compromise. I am allowed to enjoy the inside of my gazebo while the ramblers are left in control of the outside activities which of course I also enjoy very much. American Pillar has a stunning growing potential with stems easily reaching 4-5 meters during a summer season even in our Norwegian climate. It is a bit prone to mildew, but so far the mildew has been left chanceless to deal with such a profusely growing plant.

Arvid`s garden, Lista, southwestern coast of Norway, July 2009. Part of my garden showing an arche with the red roses of the climber "Tradition". Furthermore flowers of the clematis "Julia Correvon" along with some flowers of " Rosa Arvensis Splendens" are visible top right. Through the arche in the background may be seen some flowers of "Hybrida" and "Brenda Colvin" On the left grows the clematis "Etoile Violette" over a few red flowers of "Mainaufeuer".
