For his promotion of heritage roses through his nursery business over many years, and
for his generosity in sharing his knowledge and providing plants for conservation
projects in many different places. For his key role in the re-discovery of many of the
Alister Clark roses, their propagation and distribution around Australia and for his
support of Heritage Roses in Australia over a number of years.
