Died January 15, 2022 aged 100 years. 
At the age of 88 years Mrs. Marquerite Parkes was still most interested in roses.
Her husband, William Stan Parkes (now deceased) wrote the article on Rose Breeding in the Australian Rose Annual 1975 on page 94. A picture of Mr. Parkes appears in the 1973 issue on page 78.
